Summary
It's the Spring of 1914, and the continent of Europe faces a peaceful, pretty Summer ahead. Sidney Ellwood and Henry Gaunt, childhood friends preparing to face their final year together at Preshute, suddenly find themselves whisked away to Munich at the behest of Gaunt's cousins. For Gaunt, this is an opportunity to enjoy time spent in his mother's homeland, to steal moments away from prying eyes with his crush. For Ellwood it is a chance to stay close to Gaunt, blind to the consequences of his actions.
In the forests of Bavaria, Gaunt and Ellwood find themselves fully consumed by the passion they feel for each other - but threats lurk around every corner, and one wrong finger or muffled sound could invite questions neither ever want to answer. Adam knocked on the door and waited. And waited. And waited. He knocked again, and then it opened to Sam brandishing a gun, Dean behind him with a knife and a bottle of whiskey. When they saw him, they didn’t relax, but they didn’t attack either.
“Adam?” Sam asked, hesitantly. “Or… Michael?”
Adam knew he had to look ridiculous. Before, they’d seen him while he still had an archangel maintaining his body, but after the last day and a half? He was sweaty and sunburnt and dehydrated and he could almost feel the bags under his eyes. But another gift of the Cage was losing the ability to give a fuck what he looked like.

The halloween party came and went. It was only a few days after the New Year, that Sam found Jessica, his newly made fiancée, ablaze on the ceiling. He did the only thing he could. Call his brother.
It wasn't a shock to have his father answer Dean's phone in his stead, but it did chill Sam to his core when his father told him that Dean had been missing for months.
Now, forced back into the hunting life beside the man he tried so desperately to escape, Sam must hide his growing powers, and find the demon who took his mother, his fiancée, and perhaps, even his older brother.Rowena had cast the spell perfectly, powered by Jack and Amaras' combined energy. The portal to the Empty had opened. Finally, after a full year of searching, Dean was going to bring Castiel home.
But the Empty exists outside of time and space, as do all omnipotent deities. What was a mere 15 years to something that was considered ancient before Chuck and Amara even existed?
