Summary

Story Summary:

King Arthur has spent countless weeks convincing his council to invite Emrys, the King of the Druids, to Camelot for a peace treaty. It's time for them to bury the hatchet...except things aren't as simple as they sound. Emrys is rude and beautiful and smug. Arthur is unwilling to let go of his past. When the two find themselves relying on each other for survival, how will they ever see eye to eye?

After Morgana admits to having magic, Merlin and Gwen promise to help her. But when a tragic accident lands Morgana and Merlin in a prison cell, can Morgana trust herself to save them both? And can she forgive herself before she loses the woman she loves?
Or
Merlin's pretty useless (but at least he can pronounce the spells), Morgana is a perfectly functional human being (unless Gwen is involved), Gwen is missing, Arthur has a sword, and prison cells are apparently great places for self-reflection.
Oh, and Morgana deserved better, so I'm giving her better.

Summary
How could Merlin not have known? He should have known. Of course it couldn’t be real. He had been a fool to ever think it could be.
Merlin learns that Arthur was never actually in love with him. He’d been under a love potion the whole time. Devastated and feeling guilty for what had happened between them, Merlin can only think of one way to fix it: set Arthur free.
