Shouyou purses his lips and watches the ball bounce on the ground multiple times before steadying. "Why did you come here, Kageyama?"
A strange silence consumes the space between them, so unsettling that Hinata begins to fear his response. He expects something snarky, just a way to mess with him. But instead, Kageyama tilts his head.
"To play." He stands up, picking up the ball from the ground.
And that's how Fridays became their days.
Or: Hinata suffers an injury, which leads to an odd agreement between him and Kageyama.

He fidgeted with his hands, aware of how small and jittery he must seem compared to the composed, intimidating man across the table. Kageyama was exactly what he’d requested from the model agency: tall, handsome, and dark. But he hadn’t anticipated just how… scowly the model would be.
The silence between them stretched unbearably, and just as Hinata opened his mouth to try and break the tension, Kageyama’s voice cut in, as blunt as a hammer.

Oikawa asks, taunting the red head.
“How long has it been, Toshi? Eight months? I love him more and more each day”
Tendou professes as he squeezes Ushijima’s shoulders and locks eyes with Oikawa again.
Tendou loves joking around with his opponents before a volleyball match but-
“Tendou, I am so sorry.”
Ushijima simply says, and he sounds like he really means it.
Tendou is so confused. Why was Ushijima apologizing to him?
“I had no idea that the nature of our relationship was that of boyfriends and not best friends. I shall do my best to make the necessary adjustments to my behavior.”
Wait. Did Ushijima not know he was joking to Oikawa about them being boyfriends?

TLDR: Tendou makes a joke to Oikawa that he and Ushijima are dating and Ushijima actually thinks he is serious about it. This makes Ushijima realise a thing or two about their relationship and the adjustments he might want to make to said relationship.
