Summary
Deep in the heart of the Shire there lived a dwarf, May did not like the look of strangers nor was she at all interested in making friends with them. A stranger loiters around her home, asking question and offering adventures. Here? He thinks he can find heroes here? In the Shire of all places?
With no knowledge of who she was and where she came from, May agrees to join a quest to reclaim lands long lost to those she had little love for. May learns what it is to be a dwarf as she travels across Arda in search of answers, perhaps she"ll even make a friend or two.

Summary
Yun"s recovery from her injuries sustained on Ravenhill is not going well. Things take a turn for the worse when she begins to suffer from seizures. Unwilling to become a burden to Thorin, who is all but overwhelmed by his work and duty as King under the Mountain to rebuild Erebor, she secretly takes her leave of the kingdom for Rivendell in the hopes that Lord Elrond may be able to cure her.
As she travels, Yun must also decide whether she should sit back and let the War of the Ring take its course or make use of her "knowledge" and somehow begin the quest to destroy the One Ring before Sauron regains power.
