Damian is aware that his beloved Richard is considered rather an attractive specimen and that there will inevitably be more than a few contenders for Grayson's hand.
Damian was however totally blindsided and totally disgusted to discover just how willing and open people are to share with the entire world their perverted fantasies about Nightwing and/or Richard Grayson on the internet. There is at least one entire website dedicated to "appreciating" Nightwing's posterior and posting photographs of it. (Bonus if it's revealed that Tim, Jason, Dick himself, a rogue or two, and/or someone else in their circle has provided some of the pics in the past.)
Not to mention this appalling new thing called "real person fanfiction" where people write the most depraved (and usually extremely implausible) scenarios under the guise of "fiction."
In any case, Damian is not going to take this discovery sitting down.

Because that was his nature. Grayson was a good man, and good men gave their lives for others even when they didn't deserve it.
And Damian knew very well that he didn't deserve any of it.
He wasn't worth to be saved by Nightwing. So for his death not to be in vain, he decided to do this. He broke all the promises he ever made to anyone. He denied all the times he gave his word to anybody.
But he was doing it for a greater purpose, so could you blame him?------------------------------------------------------------
As you might have read it up there, this takes place on Apokolips war events, where basically Darkseid wins, there's parademons everywhere and everyone is dead or brainwashed or like in a zombie state. Damian is one of the (un)lucky ones that survived, but because of guilt, he tried to revive Dick with the Lazarus Pit... and it obviously went wrong.
