Summary
Unrest within Konoha prompts Tsunade to send Kakashi and the recently promoted to Anbu Sakura on a long-term mission far from the village. There Sakura meets Itachi Uchiha for the first time and later becomes very close with Kakashi. (The Copy Ninja seems to have caught feelings for his teammate).
Danzo has usurped power.
Sasori captures Sakura after their battle.
Itachi, Sasori and Sakura work together to defeat Orochimaru and take back Sasuke.
Kakashi leaves Konoha under the dark Hokage Danzo. He can no longer be a loyal military dog when the only people he cares for are in danger. He finds the masked man -- he finds Obito.
Sakura and Kakashi manage to become part of the Akatsuki and change their goals.
