Summary
Eddie misses Tennessee sometimes, though he doesn’t remember much. He misses the warmth of the people and the sunshine, he misses the cornbread his old neighbor Mrs. Carter used to make, but he mostly misses his mom. Misses her laugh and the way she tucked him into bed with a song every night, always with the same Dolly Parton song.
Maybe that’s why he always reaches out to Dolly when he’s feeling down in the dumps.
And all because of Steve motherfuckin’ Harrington.

When Steve realises how bad things have got, he makes it a personal mission to help him through it, but it's not going to be an easy road. Besides, Steve's got baggage of his own to work through, he just doesn't know how much.
