    You can really understand why people named our galaxy the Milky Way out here, the wisps of gas and dust pour out in a waterfall across the sky. Blacks and blues and dark purples and whites. Stars–blue-white and yellow-white and some almost orange–glitter across the entire sky.

    The only sound for miles is the murmur of nocturnal wildlife. Even the wind has decided to go to bed.

    Yeah, this is why he moved out here. There isn't a sign of another human for miles and miles and-

    As he is literally thinking about the lack of people, the sound of a motor in the distance hits his awareness and he curses. “God fucking-”

    It is getting louder.

    If Edwin's being honest with himself, it wasn't surprising that Charles was in the bag. He thought it made perfect sense. What didn't was everything else. The way Charles was bundled under a white and blue baby blanket, the way he curled into himself, holding a stuffed bear, the way he was surrounded by stuffed animals and toys.

    The peaceful look on Charles' face was perhaps the most perplexing.

    Charles goes missing when he's upset and Edwin finds out where he's been hiding by accident. It awakens some interesting feelings.
