Summary
This is a story charting Regulus Black's early years to death, mainly taking place at Hogwarts. This is a Jegulus fic. There will probably be heavy angst. A very dark academic aesthetic if you are into stuff. It will be pretty much canon-compliant. Yes, a lot of this is inspired by the short films A Night's Tale and The Ascendent made by The Mischief Productions. Also the show made by A Casa Mia Studios

The insurmountable sound of the roof caving in, the support beams failing, and the marble decorations shattering around him seemed to stop all at once. There was nothing but silence. Cold, abrupt, threatening silence.

She'd wanted Gem's comfort to aid with the pain and the scars where shards of bone had torn through the skin of her shins and where her kneecaps had dislocated with a sickening pop just a split-second before everything went red and she'd respawned on her second life. But she hadn't shown up, and suddenly Pearl's base felt empty and all-consuming and the words "I don't love you" held a hell of a lot more weight.
This wasn't supposed to be romantic, but Wild Life made the yuri inevitable. Goddamnit /pos

He looked at Sirius sharply, and for once, matched his grin. “Yeah.”
“Maybe that’s my excuse then,” Sirius said. “I cause a bit of chaos now, and maybe one day, it’ll turn into rock and roll.”After losing his mother at age eleven, Remus has spent the better part of the last four years bouncing from school to school or else running around London and pretending as though he wasn't the kind of well-bred boy his father brought him up to be. Now, with his chances all run out, Remus is sent to Hawkings Independent School as a last-ditch effort to clean up his act. There he meets the very people who will set up the rest of his life, and is forced to confront the pieces of himself he'd long thought had been lost.
