    Work as a prosecutor isn"t well-paying or glamorous, but Ruby Rose is determined to fight against the horrific crimewave infecting the city of Vale with all of her intelligence and energy. Yet as she throws away small fish after small fish, the biggest target in her sights, Weiss Schnee, head of the Vale branch of the Schnee Crime Family, dances around her and eludes her grasp.
    But she"s gotten close a few too many times for Weiss to be comfortable with, as the Ice Queen of Vale finds herself more and more enamoured with the thrill of being chased by the one person in the city she"s willing to consider might be her equal.
