Inspired by and based on Calcium-Cat’s fic One Small Dream, but with one small key difference:
What if the potion that turned Dream’s into a babybones actually worked the way it was intended and simply suppressed Dream’s magic instead?
What if Nightmare got to exact the revenge he’d been planning to take on his brother and really made Dream pay for what he did to him all those centuries ago?
Will doing so finally bring him happiness?
And if not... will it be too late to fix what he’s broken...?
(Rated Mature specifically for the Angst-filled Prologue, but the majority of the chapters will be suitable for Teens and up)

Summary
Nightmare's life is great. He's one of the most powerful threats in the multiverse, despite the Star Sanses' (often failed) attempts to stop him. He destroys AU's on a weekly basis, feeding on their negative energy. And when he's not out causing chaos, he's at home either taking care of paperwork or taking care of his four boys. Nightmare has everything. A home. A purpose. A family.
He should be happy.
But he's not.
He can't be. At least, not until his brother pays for what he did to Nightmare all those centuries ago. The only thing standing in the way of his revenge is Dream’s positive magic. Thanks to some help from a potion Sci made, Nightmare can finally fix that pesky little problem.
Unfortunately, that problem isn’t the only thing that’s little now.

He’d been too naïve for his own good, but when fear was breaking down the last of his walls, all Yuji could do was shuffle toward the curse, one hand tugging on his clothes, and beg for him to reconsider.
“A-Aniki… Don’t go away.”
As soon as the words slipped out between Yuji’s lips, regret took over at the sight of Sukuna’s face. He honestly didn’t know how the curse would react, expecting to be shoved off again as the more likely outcome than the full-body freeze he was witnessing.
The curse’s eyes widened, bewildered by the form of address Yuji had used. It wasn’t like a Yuji could have used his name, and he was still in Fushiguro’s body, which for better or for worse gave him the stature of a teenager… He’d made Sukuna livid, hadn’t he?
This was how his life was going to end.
❤ Yuji gets attacked while alone and turned into a child. His memories are all intact, but no one else needs to know that. Especially when the first person to find him is the curse who abandoned him once already.

His voice threw you off guard. You were glad that there weren't people around to eavesdrop on your conversation. Your mind searched for words but all you could think about doing was hitting him. You didn’t though.
“That’s not fair.”
Your voice was small. He made you feel small.
Satoru laughed sarcastically. “No, what you’re doing is unfair. I get no say in your choice. Why can’t you trust me?”
“Because you’re you. You’re Gojo Satoru."
