“My name’s Coriolanus Snow,” he fishes into his jacket pocket, produces a business card printed on thick creamy cardstock. “So now we’re not strangers anymore.”

There’s an earthquake at six p.m on the hottest day of the year so far, rattling the dishes waiting to be washed in the sink, shaking the walls so hard that the framed photo of the two of them from the night of Angela’s actual wedding tumbles to the ground, glass shattering on impact. It doesn’t last long, maybe fifteen seconds or so, just long enough for Lucy to chew and swallow her mouthful of Lucky Charms and for Tim to rush into the room, plaid shirt half buttoned, his eyes a little wild.

Summary
The scar was Kate's reminder that she was a murderer.
That even though the news and the cops and her therapist didn't have the guts to come out and say it, she had led three people she loved to their deaths. It was penance. Tyler touching her there... Maybe it reminded her that she'd probably kill him too.
So yeah. It was a good thing that she was having this little episode by herself.
(Kate's scar is acting up for the first time in a while. Tyler helps her through it.)

Ray meets his daughter somewhere between East Berlin, 1962, and Memphis in 1954. He’s never been to Memphis yet. He’ll meet Elvis there in a few days. First, he meets Ruth. And just as quickly, he forgets her.
Ray’s daughter shows up in the kitchen. The main problem with that is that she hasn’t been born yet. There are rainbow goldfish and magic donuts and it’s possible she was nicknamed after a fictional kangaroo. Sara and Nate pelt each other with almonds. Ray just thinks Nora is really pretty, that’s all.
Ruth is like magic. She’s bright and happy and she likes goldfish and her hair clips have stars on them. She smiles and it’s like nothing bad can happen. She has a little brother who loves dinosaurs. She’s his.
His and Nora’s. He’s going to marry Nora.
