“He’s had enough for tonight. Leave him alone.”
Against his better judgement, JJ carefully got out of bed. It was something in Mike’s voice. An emotion he’d never heard before.
“Please, just let me speak to him. I need to-“
He quietly stepped out of his room.
“JJ,” John B breathed.
He ran a hand through is disheveled hair and sighed. “Let him in.” -
