Summary

Between dealing with small-time criminals and semi-dangerous villains that seemed to have a grudge against him, Peter is just trying to keep his college life from derailing. With his unexpected internship at Stark Industries and the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man ending up on the Avengers’ radar, will Peter manage to keep it all from collapsing?

Peter gasped in horror. “Nooo!” He dropped to his knees and punched the concrete, “Why?! He was so young! So tasty!”
“I’ll buy you pizza when we get to the tower.”
“You.” Peter’s eyes narrowed as he turned to the pizza murderer, “You have gone too far now.” He warned.
Peter landed on the man’s shoulders to make the man fall onto the roof next to his poor, soaked pizza slice. Peter webbed him up more just in case.
“I would be sorry, if it hadn’t been for the loss of my poor pizza.” Peter sniffed. “A moment of silence for our fallen hero.” He said as he stood on top of Iron Man’s back, a fist to his chest in respect. “Gone but never forgotten. Always in our hearts. May you rest in peace, sweet, sweet pizza slice.”

Summary
After watching his life go up in flames, quite literally, Peter's life is uprooted. Legally deceased, a runaway, and scrambling to maintain himself physically and mentally. Fake till you make it. All he has left is his identity as Spider-Man. Best of all? The Avengers thought it would be nice to have issues with Spider-Man. Being chased by the Avengers is just an icing on the cake of Peter's new life.

Summary
Uncle Iroh took a more creative approach to fostering Zuko's appreciation of other cultures.
Or, Zuko goes to an Earth Rumble and becomes a rabid fan. When he realizes the Blind Bandit is teaching the avatar earthbeinding, he gives up his quest and decides to pursue other projects. Fire Nation Rebellions, secret airbending societies, and long dead relatives turn Zuko into everyone's Problem. Somehow, this is all Iroh's fault. His apologies might mean more if he could stop smiling like a proud parent.

Summary
Only a few months after Zuko's banishment he finds himself on a pirate ship.

He's not an idiot, he knows his father does not believe the Avatar is alive, he does not truly expect him to find them. He's being punished for his disrespect, for not living up to what his father demands. He might deserve it, but he won't spend his life looking for someone who hasn't existed in one hundred years. If he's going to be a disappointment anyways he may as do what he pleases, and if that means joining a pirate crew, chasing some spirits and blowing up whatever Fire Navy harbors are on the way, so be it.

Virgil’s got a simple code when he’s not on a hunt. Don’t hurt whatever you don’t absolutely have to, and odds are, it won’t hurt you. Now and then there’s a bit of an, um, incident where that doesn’t quite work out as well as they’d hoped, but by and large they get by.
