Clorinde had always been passive and callous - blunt and reserved. Tenderness or the gentleness of being wanted was not something she encountered daily, nor did she readily offer it to just anyone.
With Navia, however, everything felt different. The notion of embracing tenderness and reciprocating it, though foreign, was something she welcomed wholeheartedly, even if she couldn't always express it outright.
