Summary
After the end of it all, ages after, Galadriel is called to Aman where a prisoner dwells in the shadows. A prisoner whose trial is at last approaching. And he will talk to one alone: Galadriel.
Galadriel must devise three trials to put Sauron through to prove he is worthy of redemption - and failure is not an option. After the first two trials were less than a success, Galadriel has to pull out all the stops for the third and she does not like it, at all. For the third trial will not only test Sauron but her as well. Because for this most crucial one, she will have to live through a time where when Sauron asks her to join him, she tells him yes.

Set after the Finale.
Galadriel has left Eregion, has ran as far from the Southlands as the map allows.
It was fitting that she wanders to where her search for her enemy (her almost) had last ended, on the opposite end of this Middle Earth in the northern wasteland.
She doesn’t remain alone in her exile for long.

Summary
Frodo fails.
The good people of Middle Earth succumb to the rule of the One Ring and its only master, Sauron. In his victory, he promises only a cruel decimation of the world as he reforges it in his image. Except, of course, his chief adversary needs to make things more complicated.
Another bargain struck. An accord for a hand in marriage, in exchange for a fading chance to save Middle Earth from utter ruin.

She twisted on the bed, bending as much as the restraints would let her, ignoring the pain of her still healing side and tuning out the steady, irritating beep of the medbay equipment. Her focus was on the clear line running down to the connection to her vein. The medics had come again, added the drugs to IV bag without any acknowledgement of her before leaving. It’s effects were already starting to be felt. Soon it would sweep her away into an unfocused daze.
If she let it.
Catching the line on the guardrail of the bed, she twisted her arm against the restraint, pulling the line taut, biting her lip against the pain of the catheter twisting in her vein. With a slow, steady pull, she felt the needle of the line slip out of the catheter, just enough that the drip would run off and not into her body. The line was close enough that she could use the force to push it back in when they came to check on her, or when the bag was empty and the worry about the drugs were no longer a threat.
