    Summary

Gods, I love seeing him like this. Unfiltered and raw and Xaden, not Lieutenant Riorson, not the heir apparent, not the Wingleader—just Xaden. My Xaden.

Set at some point during part two of Iron Flame.

    Summary

Now that he’s risen through the ranks to Wingleader, Xaden Riorson only has one goal for his last year at Basgiath: Get all the marked kids bonded and graduated so they can fight the real enemy lurking at the borders.
The only problem is that Violet Sorrengail, the general’s youngest daughter, has also joined the Rider’s Quadrant this year. He doesn’t know why she’s here, what her plans are, or if he can trust her. All he knows is that he can’t seem to stay away.

This is Fourth Wing retold from Xaden’s POV. It follows the dialogue and timeline from Fourth Wing with my own interpretations and theories of Xaden’s actions and feelings. As it was written before the release of Iron Flame, all ideas and theories are just that – theories. Many elements are my own head cannons/speculation and are unconfirmed by Rebecca Yarros.

I would recommend reading Fourth Wing first as there are major plot spoilers throughout!

    Summary

Newly appointed to the rank of Wingleader, Xaden Riorson only has one goal for his third and final year at Basgiath: Get all the marked ones bonded and graduated so they might stand a fighting chance against the true evil lurking at Navarre’s borders. The only problem is that Violet Sorrengail, his enemy’s youngest daughter, has also joined the Rider’s Quadrant this year. He doesn’t know why she’s here, what her plans are, or if he can trust her. All he knows is that he can’t seem to stay away.

This is a rewrite of my previous fic “The Wingleader – Xaden’s POV”. It’s a Fourth Wing retelling from Xaden’s POV with new Iron Flame updates. It follows the dialogue and chapter timeline from Fourth Wing with my own interpretations and theories of Xaden’s actions and feelings.

Do not read if you haven’t finished both FW AND IF - major spoilers from BOTH books throughout!

All rights and characters belong to Rebecca Yarros.

    Summary

His plan of action is clear- he must gain intel on what has occurred and from there, he can come up with a plan on how to help Aloy.
Varl meets his gaze steadily as he approaches.
The words catch in his mouth, and again he can feel his heart hammering anxiously within the cavern of his chest. “How can I help?”
A curious expression falls across Varl’s face as he glances from Kotallo to the space where Aloy had stood.
Then he breaks into a smile, and that’s where Kotallo’s newest mission starts.

Or: Aloy's paint pot breaks and Kotallo decides to complete a Nora tradition to create a new one (and never wants to hear Varl talk about clay again).

    Summary

    Kohtalo ('Fate', in Finnish):

She departed to safeguard him—both him and herself. Even after six years, it still felt like the optimal decision for all parties involved. But Aloy ought to have discerned better; Fate has a peculiar knack for orchestrating events, defying attempts to evade its grasp.
