“Answer me sooner, you idiot!” Miorine sobs, an elated smile on her lips as the gravity lifts off her shoulders. Suletta manages a smile, the smallest curve of her lips that Miorine wants to kiss over and over until there’s nothing left but the stars and them.
My beautiful, brave girl.
She embraces Suletta tightly, the last vestiges of her tears trembling through her soul, now repaired and whole once more.
Suletta’s body is weak, and she struggles to raise her arm, wrapping it around Miorine’s waist and pressing her numb, trembling fingers into the small of her back.
“My Miorine,” Suletta mutters, and Miorine chokes on another sob, full of happiness and joy.
She pulls Suletta closer until there’s no space left and swears that they’ll never be apart.
“Yours.”

Her fingers were saying all those words her pride wouldn’t let her speak out loud, but when Suletta twitched in her sleep she knew she heard them loud and clear. The sunlight was playing with her pretty features and lovely hair, and in that particular moment of weakness – when her eyes were still shimmering with unshed tears and her heart was still singing those lovely stories about a shared home she could always go back to – her whole future was painted in red, white and gold, and Miorine could have never been more delighted to see it.
On Miorine, Suletta and their ability to always gravitate towards each other.
