“You know, that was as painful to hear as I thought it would be.” Those words were familiar for some reason, it nagged at the back of his skull as he stared up at her, lifting his head from the bar to actually look her over now. The girl gave him an overly patient look and held out her hand to him, “Nice you meet you, Bones, I guess I’m your soulmate.” Like a bucket of cold water had been thrown over him, those words sobered him up far too quickly and Papyrus was left staring at the girl slack jawed. Fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fucking, fuck. Without even thinking, his magic swirled around him, the urge to escape this painful situation just too strong to ignore and before he could even blink, the world went black around him and he was back in his own bed.
You fully expected your soulmate to reject you, after all, the words tattooed on your skin was a confession to someone else, for goodness sakes! So when you meet the tall skeleton, you fully expect him to be out of your life before you can even blink, so why is he hanging around? And why don’t you really mind it?
