*Viktor dug his hand into the slips inside the sphere, about halfway in if the shifting of the papers was of any indication. He pulled one slip out and, just as he’d done with the girl's slip, waited until he was at the podium to recite the name written on the paper.
“Alcryst Brodia.”

Diamant stood there in stunned silence, feeling completely immobilized as the name rattled around in his head. It was one slip… one slip in hundreds that bore his brother's name, and it was the one pulled! He heard a pathetic noise come from his right, and he turned and watched in abject horror as Alcryst slowly made his way up to the stage, his expression a mixture of terror and grim resignation. Alcryst… shy, timid Alcryst, being sent into the arena to kill or be killed…
Diamant knew what he had to do.
When he steps forward to volunteer in his younger brother's place in the one hundredth annual Hunger Games, eighteen-year-old Diamant Brodia is determined to do everything in his power to win, no matter what it took. Summary
Dragons hadn’t been seen in Fodlan for centuries, and there was no trace of them to be found. For every tale of the ‘Nemesis, the King of Liberation’, there was some scholar or religious fanatic claiming that he was actually a heartless monster; one who slew the dragons in order to rule their lands with an iron fist. They even claimed the source of all of their hardships today could be traced back to the day the dragons stopped blessing their lands and instead fled to save themselves.
Basically, dragons were the stuff of bedtime stories and the frivolous games they used to play when they were children.
That is... until they weren't.
Now, bound to an agreement with a dragon who wishes to secure the two of them as her "treasures", Felix and Sylvain must fight to end the war that threatens the lives of their friends and family... And maybe fall in love along the way.

An intruder walks down the main hall of the stronghold, head turning slightly this way and that to take in all the grandeur the place must once have possessed.
Sylvain follows the intruder. His prowl is silent and concealed, his heavy boots not making a sound despite their metal spikes. His pale skin and gleaming eyes blend in with the shadows to an absolute despite the paradox.

After the fall of Garreg Mach, Sylvain and Ferdinand were forced to part ways until four years later Ferdinand shows up on the doorstep of Gautier Manor with news from Claude that there might be hope for the Resistance.
