Summary
Maybe you shouldn’t have went through a fridge that wasn’t yours. And yeah, you probably shouldn’t have gone and downed a fluorescent, glittery fluid bubbling inside a peculiarly-shaped measuring glass just because it was pink.
. . What? You really like pink.

Summary
It’s just some wayward Padawans, he tells himself, prowling forward on silent feet, concentrating on masking his presence in the Force for reasons he can’t explain. Just some kids who lost track of the time and their common sense for him to chase back to their rooms.
He should just clear his throat, he thinks. Announce his presence so that they have time to get themselves decent before he steps around the stacks to confront them.
But Yord doesn’t clear his throat, and he doesn’t step around the stack, and he doesn’t confront them.
Yord’s heart stutters and slams in his chest, and his breath catches in his lungs, because even though he’d heard her voice, even though he’d thought he’d recognized it, some part of him had still expected for it to be two wayward Padawans that have snuck away to fumble and paw at one another in the darkness.
He hadn’t been expecting to see Osha Aniseya, half naked and locked in a passionate embrace with… someone.

Summary
Osha turns, startled, and freezes. “What are you doing here?”
He’s not supposed to be here. He doesn’t work for them anymore.
Qimir just smiles at her, warm and easy, his hand still on her back as if they were old friends, as if they were lovers.
“I need you to listen to me very carefully,” he says, so close his lips brush against her ear. “Stay calm, and act natural, for as long as you can. Do exactly what I tell you, when I tell you to do it, and everything will be okay.” He pulls back, still smiling, and adds, “You look beautiful, by the way.”
She’s so disoriented by his words that it takes her a few seconds to notice the gun in his hand.

Summary
It's just a coming of age ceremony ritual. Every witch worth their salt does it as soon as they turn twenty-one. Osha has no reason to be this apprehensive.
She's only meant to draw on a harmless spirit to bind to her for protection and companionship. It's a simple and straightforward ritual, little room for fuck ups.
osha pulls the thread and ends up with something unexpected.

Summary
Osha ignores the hands that graze an inch too close to her in the hallway. She pretends she can’t feel the eyes that crawl up the stretch of back she’s left free of her dress. She absolutely does not look at the way his lips seal around a soup spoon across the dinner table. (She can’t be the only one who thinks the way he tongues the prongs of his fork is a bit excessive.)
Osha tells herself she can soothe the goosebumps trickling down her arms; the drumming in her chest is just stress. She can count the days between now and her wedding on her fingers, and it’s making her nervous is all.
It has absolutely nothing to do with her soon-to-be brother-in-law, Qimir.
(or: modern day au where osha’s engaged to qimir’s brother; he objects.)
