Summary
Medley of the Rainstorm is a pseudo-anthology series based on Risk Of Rain 2's Original Soundtrack. Each song in the soundtrack is given a chapter that follows one to a dozen characters. Some chapters are more closely related to a developing story, while some may take a turn to focus on something else.
Regardless, if you enjoy the world of Risk Of Rain, I believe that you will enjoy Melody of the Rainstorm as well! There will be an original story that differs completely from gameplay, so it will keep you invested! Prior knowledge of the game and its story is highly recommended.
Disclaimer: Some events/character traits may not be exact to Risk Of Rain canon. Creative reaches might be taken to help develop/build the story. Additionally, some chapters might be slightly edited during the process. For any questions or for some sneak peeks, DM me on discord at "apaolo". I would love to chat with you!
Please enjoy!

Summary
The employee leans in slightly, studying the frozen person in his seat.
It is a jarring sight– almost surreal– seeing the Narrator in such a position, in such a form. Stanley never would have thought of him as human. Just like him.
----
A swap AU: the Narrator and Stanley have swapped roles, the Narrator becomes mute, Stanley gains a voice and a new office, along with renewed anger at how the Narrator has been treating him all this time. Emotions and angst ensue. Quite a bit of angst, might I add. -

Summary
a very angsty au where Stanley is tested on and kept captive in a hidden lab to discover how and why death cannot touch him. No matter how harmed he may become, he always comes back. Even so, this doesn't make it any less terrible for Stanley as The Narrator (Nathan), slowly learns to help him and become a better person, putting his dreams and job aside.

Summary
While relaxing in the Zen room, Stanley has a bit of a realization.
He and the Narrator have never actually introduced themselves to one another before, despite all the time they’ve been in the Parable together. When he points this out, more questions come to his mind, and it leaves him questioning how much he honestly knows about his place in the Parable, and who the Narrator even is.
After all, if they’ve never introduced themselves, do they even really know each other?

stanley has an existential crisis/epiphany and for once he’s the one explaining what their story means. general warnings for existential thoughts and concepts, and for the reality of the characters in the story.
