It begins as a sort of joke to himself.
Akira Kurusu knows exactly what kind of reputation he walks into the halls of Shujin Academy with. He’s always been keen and observant—sharp ears and sharper eyes. With the teachers making a fuss about the Student Council President, he figures he would get straight to the point. Strike some fear or something close to that into the heart of the snobby upperclassman. Then maybe she would leave him alone.
With a face full of piercings and a delinquent reputation to uphold, Akira Kurusu seeks out Shujin's Student Council President—as a joke!
Until it isn't.

Summary

“No, I—” want to. So bad. You have no idea. He clears his throat. “I’m not much of a dancer. And you are the Princess. So…”
Link and Zelda grow up together and learn that the weight of the world is isn't as heavy when it's carried between two people.

Summary
The newly transferred, office favourite, associate director Link is holding two cups in his hands. Zelda meets his blue eyes and he gives her a small, lopsided smile.
“I thought everyone had left for the day,” she says.
He shakes his head. “Had a few things to finish up.” He offers her one of the cups. “Spicy pepper hot chocolate?”
She studies the cups in his hands. How did he know that her preferred hot drink after three o’clock was a spicy pepper hot chocolate? She glances back up at him. His expression is frustratingly bland and pleasant–she does not trust it. “No thank you.”

Something about the newly transferred associate director just gets under Zelda's skin. He's too kind, too helpful, and all around just too charming to be real. But when the snowstorm of the decade rolls in and leaves them snowed in together right before the holidays, she realizes that things have a way of working themselves out.

Delinquent AU inspired by this drawing by @WafflemusPrime. We came up with of headcanons and became partners in insanity.
