A porcelain vase flew through their window, blurred by speed, and the cheering laughter of teenagers. It crashed in the centre of their room, shattering into tiny pieces. With it went Karamatsu's mirror, cracks drawing across the surface at the force.
Todomatsu screeched. That would have hit him, not a minute ago. It could have hit any of them, realistically, if they weren't boxed into the corner of the room.

He remembered only the panicked click of Jean’s heels at his side, the short journey from the apartment to the alchemist’s side at the alleyway’s back–end a blur of shadowed limbs and panicked thoughts conjured from deep in his own head, mauling through drapes and walls to the epicentre and screaming at him.

“Albedo!” Jean called, beckoning the man to face them as they drew further into the enclosing gloom of the interstice. His face twitched at the sight of them, blond wisps of his hair dissolving into the light by his chest, his entire front alight in a crystalline blue. He turned fully as Diluc’s shoes scraped across the ground, halting at the sight of his cupped hands.
The hitch in his breath came involuntarily, but stripped his body of all its functions. His muscles were knotted into tight binds that violently squeezed his throat, slowly pulling him under.
Lying in Albedo’s hands was a Mondstadt cryo vision missing two of its wings.

“Natsu,” Zeref said, worrying his lip between his teeth, “She’s dangerous, be careful.”
“It’s fine, relax,” he said. He walked up to her and crouched down to her view, feet digging into the dirt, “what’s your name?”
She snarled, launching like she’s trying to bite his nose off. There were tears in her eyes, a beautiful brown that drew him in, “like I'd tell you, vampire.”

Natsu had never met a human in person before. Lucy has never met a vampire that didn't try to kill her. Somehow, they meet in the middle.

Lea hesitantly took his eyes off Isa, and tilted his head in confusion.
"With what?""When he wakes up," Ienzo said slowly, as if considering his words, "I have a feeling he won't want to talk much. I know talking about my experiences was, a little difficult at first."
His voice dulled under the sound of rusted clogs turning in Lea's head.
"So, you want me to try and talk to him?"Ienzo nodded, "It seemed like the best choice; if Isa was to open up to anyone, it would most certainly be you."
OR
Isa has a lot to make up for, now that he's a somebody again. Lea is willing to give him a chance.

Taehyung sank into a slow kneel before them, every movement deliberate, calculated, yet uncoordinated and shaky. The agony radiating from his joints was excruciating, but he performed it without outwardly displaying the anguish in his body. His gaze never left theirs, and yet it was a gaze that seemed to pierce through them, cold and resigned. Taehyung sat in front of them. Shivering like a dog. It was with the slightest tilt of his head that he exposed his throat, bitten raw and swollen.
A hoarse, desperate whisper escaped his lips, barely audible but heavy with fear. "Please... don’t kill me."
Or, Taehyung is meant to be feasted upon and killed. The Bangtan Coven disagrees.

Jayce has always been this… casually affectionate, Viktor supposes? It started small, a hand on Viktor’s shoulder, a brush of fingers as Jayce takes a piece of chalk from him, and grew into full hugs or Jayce’s arm around Viktor. It’s not constant, but it is common, and Viktor does not know what to make of it.
Or, five times Jayce "unthinkingly" touches Viktor and two times he does it with purpose.
Disclaimer: I had no idea Viktor was asexual when I wrote this. As an ace person myself, I have considered it and decided to leave the fic posted, since ace people can still be active. However, please keep in mind that Viktor is asexual! Edit: I have been informed of some very valid reasoning behind Viktor not being asexual (ex. The stereotype of him being ace and disabled, and the possible poor intentions behind the statement) so please understand I do not want to offend anyone or misrepresent this character. Thank you <3
