Ellyra was a shadow, he reminded himself. She was like all of the others of her kind: nothing but a hollow imitation of her ancestors, a silhouette cast upon a cave wall, insensible of the imprisoned light that made her shaded existence possible.

Summary
SWTOR: Ascension is an in-progress Star Wars: The Old Republic series focused on the adventures of a Defender-class corvette and its crew. The current timeline spans from the end of the Cold War and Second Galactic War time period (3643-3637 BBY), with plans to eventually cover the Eternal Empire's conquest (3636-3630 BBY). Along with the primary novels, there are interlude anthologies following a wide variety of perspectives across the Galaxy.
