“Oh, yes. She most certainly did,” a voice cut in— the Doctor’s. She hadn’t seen him coming so she was even more surprised to feel his arms wrap around her waist from behind and his body melt into hers like it belonged there. She turned her face just in time for him to lower his chin to her shoulder. He definitely saw the question in her eyes as he turned his face into her neck, hiding a smirk. As he regained his composure he continued to spin the yarn. “Left that sorry, old sod in the dust, didn’t ya, Rose? Gotta be two years ago, hasn’t it? That’s about how long you’ve been with me.”
