The day had left him frustrated, stressed and exhausted after being kept in the office past anyone else. When it was over he only took a moment to feed and care for his dogs before he was slinging shots of a cheap whiskey straight from the bottle, already half empty from the night prior.
When the bottle was empty he cracked open another. Tears of frustration from his job spilling over. He just wanted to be home with his dogs. It's all he's ever wanted.
