Summary
Peter notices how nobody seems to care about Deadpool. He's a hero so clearly it's his job to try and help him out, right? So why does he suddenly feel like Wade is helping him? Why does Wade opening up seem to open some unknown door in Peter's life that he didn't even know was locked?

“Oh, I’m glad I ran into you,” He shut the book, tucking it under his arm as he pulled a cracked phone out of his pocket. “I wanted to get your number, just in case you needed some help again. I hate seeing you think you’ve gotta do all that shit on your own.” He held his phone out to the merc. “Plus it was kinda nice to have someone around.”

Summary
Peter has dedicated the past eight years of his life to fighting. Online, Peter is a hero, he walks into the arena and shines, he moves deliberately and lethally and is damn good at what he does. When he logs off and puts the VR headset down, Peter is struggling. He's busy and clumsy, he spends his little free time online, watching shitty sci-fi movies, or studying. The rest of his time is spent at lectures and working two jobs at minimum wage, still not making enough money for rent each month. But that doesn't seem to deter Wade who, for some unknown reason, thinks Peter deserves the world.

Peter sprinted home. His feet thumped hard on the ground as he dodged around a rapidly approaching taxi. Maybe he should be a tad more careful but his professor insisted that they all stay just ten more minutes (much to Peter's (and the next professor’s) frustration). So now Peter was more than late and he had promised he wouldn’t be late for this event. He couldn’t be late.

“Spidey!” Deadpool’s voice called out from a nearby rooftop. “Do I need to explode something to get your attention?”
“No! Please don’t.” He swung down, landing gracefully next to Deadpool. “What do you want? I’m on the clock.” He rests his hands on his hips.
“What? I’m not allowed to have a nice chat with my best friend?”
“No while I’m working Deadpool.” He turned, shooting a web to a building nearby, “Some of us have jobs.”
Before Peter could jump away Deadpool grabbed his hand. “Let me come! Please.” He chuckled, “That’s what she said.”
“Not after that joke.”
“Wait I’ll buy you lunch!”
Peter paused, sighing. “Fine.” He held his arm out for Deadpool to grab.
Deadpool clapped his hands, grabbing tightly onto Peter’s arm. “I like being this close to you. Oh, you got a new deodorant, I like it.”
“Shut up before I drop you.”****
Peter is trying to get through his master's programme while holding an internship and being a superhero. Why would Deadpool give up the opportunity to bother him? While Peter is used to Deadpool being Deadpool, he's not used to his eyes catching on his friend's skin, the stupid flirting sending heat to his cheeks. In short, Peter is fucked.

“You’re the murder guy.” A voice from behind him said casually. Wade turned to see a guy with blond hair standing behind him. The way his blue eyes pierced into Wade made his stomach twist. The guy was blatantly trying to flaunt his finance-bro job, the expensive suit he wore was pressed obnoxiously perfectly and he had the generic too-nice smile on his face. Wade had dealt with enough rich men to know he wasn’t a good guy. “I’m Flash Thomson, managing director at Imperial Bank.”
“Wade Wilson, my reputation precedes me.” Wade inspected him, trying to figure out what this guy was up to as he cautiously shook his outstretched hand, “I prefer ex-mercenary though, if we’re going with professions. Though I guess you could say honorary Advenger, saviour of New York City, international sensation, the merc with a mouth, if you’re brave you could even call me a hero.”****
Peter's ten-year high school reunion is here. Who else to bring than his loving fiance, the one and only ex-merc with a mouth? Surely he can behave for a few hours.... Surely Flash won't cause any issues.....
