The two animutants, Luan and Solros, had made their relationship official a few months back and started dating, since they could no longer deny their feelings for each other. After spending one of their many dates out in nature in the middle of the cool October, Solros developed symptoms of the flu.
Luan, worried, tended to his flower, as he always did. He hated seeing his boyfriend in pain.
But as each day passed, and his symptoms progressed, Luan could tell that this was more than just the average flu. Until Sol’s symptoms became alarming.

“Would you?” Aziraphale said, finally cutting through the sounds of slow steps and notes in the air. Crowley relaxed.
“Of course. And you’d never give me a look in,” Crowley said, laughing, “You wouldn't notice at all. You’d barely register I’d slithered in. I’d try to buy a book to catch your eye, and you’d -”
“Do everything in my power to stop you,” Aziraphale said, enjoying the game, closing his eyes to picture the scene.
“Yes, you would,” Crowley said.
“So, what would you do?”
“I’d make it my life’s mission to buy one from you,” Crowley said, and Aziraphale’s lips curved at the seams.
“Yes, I think you would. And I’d be utterly exasperated by you.”
