Although it'd be easier to call Tanjirou crazy if it wasn't because half the Corps have a huge crush on him; he's easy to love, he's pretty, kind and takes care of everyone no matter who they are.
Now again, it wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't because the slayers are not the only ones who are head over heels for him; all the Pillars are and they're not very subtle about it.

“I’m fine, don’t worry!” Tanjirou smiles at the team’s captain, who rushes towards where they are to get the ball.
Tanjirou hands it back to him, feeling Rengoku’s fingers brush his for a moment.
The tall boy hasn’t stopped staring at him. His grin becomes huge, and his fire looking eyes start glimmering with joy.
