Summary
And the phone is still ringing.
Cazzo. He is going to murder him, fucking capo or not.
Inching closer to his bedside table, Luca half-blindly paws the device off from it and accepts the call without looking, pissed to no end.
“Mannaggia a te e al momento in cui sei nato, Cassano! Che un fulmine ti salga dal culo,” he hisses before clutching at his head with a whine. Damn you and the moment you were born, Cassano! May lightning come out of your ass.
“I hope you aren’t kissing your lovely mother’s cheek with that foul mouth, Luchino, caro,” answers the amused, decidedly not male and not Vincenzo-like voice at the other end, unlike what he expected.
Or, alternatively: Luca and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Morning™.

Summary
When Vincenzo called his grandmother a week ago, while Cha Young was still sleeping off the jet-lag with her head in his lap, saying he would like to visit and not alone, Nonna’s reaction was a mixture of a grumble and a relieved sigh. Vincenzo didn’t say anything, but she still knew.
Finally, she grumped. I didn’t think I’d live the day.
To be honest, he didn’t either.
Or, Maria Pia Cassano, previous Signora of the Cassano Famiglia and grandmother of a certain consigliere, meets Hong Cha Young.

Summary
The first week after Vincenzo leaves Italy is hell for Luca Giordano. Not that the second isn’t. Or the third. Truth be told, everything just goes to shit after the younger Cassano leaves with a, well, bang.
Or, Luca is the best friend everyone probably needs in their lives.

Summary
Hong Cha Young realizes just how little she knows about Vincenzo Cassano when the EMTs on site ask questions about him and the only thing her sluggish, shocked brain can provide is a name, a date of birth, a nationality and an occupation.
Nothing about allergies, medication, illnesses or a blood type.
Nothing about his emergency contacts, his friends or family.
The only things Cha Young does know – that he is filthy rich, has an expensive taste, is fit and strong enough to hang a man outside a building’s window, and is an annoying, handsome jerk with tons of secrets – are sadly not helpful in this case.
Or, alternative title: Hong Cha Young, Grief, and The Ten Days It Took Vincenzo To Wake Up From His Beauty Sleep.

Summary
Maybe it’s better she doesn’t see his emotions. Just thinking about what he might be going through in his mind is enough to bring fresh tears to her red, irritated eyes. Cha Young thought she can’t cry any more – guess she was wrong. She stubbornly blinks the droplets away as much as she can, though, and watches him like a hawk, in case her help is needed when he breaks.
Because he will.
Doesn’t matter that he is a tough, incredibly strong man both physically and mentally that probably withstood many hardships in his life already. Doesn’t matter that he was trained by a GIS member as a kid and he is a mafia corn salad, or whatever. Doesn’t matter that he is the very definition of calm and control ninety-nine percent of the time.
Vincenzo Cassano is still human.
Or, the aftermath of episode 16, from Cha Young's POV.

Summary
“Jeong.”
“Hm?” he looks up to her from his soju, slightly tipsy but still plenty sober. Ara has noticed that he can hold his liquor quite well – it makes him hoodie-eyed and sleepy rather than confused and drunk.
“Did you mean it?
“Mean what?” he blinks, a bit lost. Ara curses him in her mind for making her spell it out. She’s never been good at expressing or talking about feelings – she becomes unsure and awkward. It’s ridiculous how she can destroy a suspect or lead a trial with her words and steer any conversation to which way she pleases as easy as breathing, yet her tongue refuses to work normally in moments like this.
“Do you still… Do you like me?” she asks, stumbling from the embarrassment and part of her doesn’t want to hear what he says and just wants to bolt – away from this madness.

Summary
Clark wants nothing more than to hug her and tell her it’s not her fault -- either of these situations -- but he knows that it isn’t what she needs right now. He is not what she needs right now. However, there is someone who probably does need some consolation.
“I’m going to check on Jonathan,” Clark says softly before leaving her in the kitchen, alone.
He trudges up the stairs slowly and stops in front of Jonathan’s room, hesitating to knock. It’s actually Lois who has more heart-to-hearts with their kids -- not just because Clark is busy saving the world and being sometimes absent as a father but also, because she just… She just always knows what to say. He knows it from experience.
In comparison, Clark feels totally unprepared for the conversation that’s about to come.

Summary
Clark stops in the middle of folding up his sleeves and glances at the bed, curious.
Lois has already laid down in nothing but her underwear and she watches him on her stomach with a heat in her gaze that is unmistakable, yet confusing to Clark. The subtle scent of her arousal hangs heavily in the air but there wasn’t even anything happening that could’ve caused that reaction of hers.
It takes him seeing where her eyes are focused to get it.
“Really?” he chuckles quietly, disbelieving.
Lois shrugs and stretches on the sheets, completely unbothered. “I have a thing for your arms. And that shirt looks extra delicious on you, sue me.”

Is that honestly how you feel? by Baekbootie

Summary
“Is that honestly how you feel?”
The upset, genuinely hurt expression that passes over her face would’ve been a clear enough answer already, but Lois' next words leave no doubt about it.
“Right now, in this moment that I might regret tomorrow? Yeah, I do,” she says softly, eyes boring into his just on this side of misty -- not quite teary yet, but threateningly close to it, the light saltiness already apparent to his sensitive nose.
Clark fucked up.

Summary
Baekhyun is in the middle of the growing, murmuring crowd on the street after shuffling outside and in the next ten minutes he gets to know two things.
One, is that there is absolutely no fire in the building and probably some drunkass bastard pulled a manual alarm just for the fun of it.
And two, is that The Hottie from Apartment 61 apparently sleeps only in tight, black boxer briefs and Baekhyun wants to fucking scream -- from pleasure or agony, he doesn’t really know yet.
Or, the one where Chanyeol just wants to fucking sleep and Baekhyun is an awkward turtle with a crush but maybe he is not the only one.
