“We’re airing this out and moving on. And we are going to do it before Eddie gets home.” Harrington states with a finality that sets Gareth’s teeth grinding. As if Steve is the one who’s more concerned about their friend’s feelings than Gareth is at this point.Or
Gareth has had just about enough of Steve Harrington in the fall of "86. He sets about to do something about it. It takes an angry mob, a Corroded Coffin gig and a baseball bat full of nails for him to change his mind.
Gareth gets mad, Eddie gets beat up, Steve gets violent and Wayne is just really tired of everyone"s shit.

Summary
For years and years, Eddie knew touch to be violent. Painful. A bruising grip around his arm in public, an open palm across his face at home. He’s not sure his dad ever actually loved him, not as much as he loved the authority he held over him. High school had him contending with violence from people who were supposed to be his peers. He was tolerated in middle school, but he supposes the children of Hawkin’s finest figured that fourteen years old was too old to express himself, and it was high time they fixed that problem with their fists.
Year after year, his whole life is a compilation of hands laid on him for all the wrong reasons.

It was 2023 in boring Hawkins, Indiana, and Steve Harrington didn"t know what he was doing with his life. Home from college with a barely passing GPA, recently dumped, and drunkenly careening down a dark country road to the tune of his own misery, Steve was aware that he might be depressed. Therapy would"ve been the sane solution. But before he could turn around and make that choice, a glowing red hole cracked open in the middle of the road, and he was sent flying through time and space.
It was 1985 in boring Hawkins, Indiana, and Eddie Munson had a five step plan written out for his life. First, graduate high school. Second, provide a kickass D&D campaign for the nosey little freshman that joined Hellfire. And finally, write more music and go on tour with his band. Ok, three step plan. Absolutely nothing about his plan-in-progress included stumbling across the hottest man he"d ever seen stranded on the side of the road. Or the glowing red portal to hell parked next to him.
