Summary
Five and Allison are the last: the final two pieces in play on the chessboard.
One of them is stronger than the other.
Allison presses a button, and the entire universe warps and shifts. She plays god. She commands life and birth and existence with a whisper of desire.
Five has no such button, has no button at all. Instead, he tugs at the hum in his skin and calls it contingency.
The universe resets—and when the elevator doors open, it isn't for the first time.

“Dead guys club,” Peter repeats. “I just coined it. It’s for everyone who got snapped.” He clicks his fingers in demonstration. “Dunno what we’ll do at club meetings, but whatever it is, it must be better than sitting here forever.” He flops back down on his back.
Strange does not look amused. “You’re not dead. Get up.”
