Chloe wants to help Red in any way she can, so what will she do when Red cuts her off? She knows Red is dealing with things, she just doesn't know what, not yet. Every thought she has now is basically of Red.
Red needs Chloe’s help to keep going. Every interaction the girl has with her makes her feel more grounded like she can breathe. Everything and everyone is so new, she can’t stand it, except, Chloe?

I also throw in some of my own head canons, such as Penny being plus sized and her height being 6’ 0 or 182 CM. She is also on the autisic spectrum. Ocean is more ADHD and OCD. (also has undiagnosed autism but it’s obvious she has it) Ocean is also 5’ 3 or 160 CM and is in what society so rudely calls a “normal” size range in my personal head canons.
