They’d only resorted to such measures when that creepy guy kept hitting on Camie. And in the dancing portion of the video they’re both clearly tipsy, but since they’re so close and Camie has her hands all over him it definitely makes it harder to claim innocence.

Summary
Scenting is an act done exclusively by family, pack, and mates. A way to soothe each other and tell others you're either taken or part of a pack. Between two people who aren't family, pack, or mates? It can not be done platonically. At least as far as Midoriya is aware.
The first time Bakugou scented Midoriya they were four years old. It became routine for them. Something they did every time they saw each other. Until Bakugou stops one day, ignoring Midoriya with no explanation. Then it becomes routine for Midoriya to ignore the way his inner omega howls for the blond alpha who use to be his friend.
Years go by and it becomes easier and easier to disregard his omegas wishes to focus on becoming a hero. That is.. until Bakugou starts scenting him again. Now it's getting harder to push away all the questions he's had over the years. Why did the scentings start? Why did they stop? Why are they doing this at all? Midoriya is terrified to ask but soon he's going to reach his breaking point.
