Summary
There, snagged on some barnacles between two stones is Seán’s bracelet. The one he had proudly told Dan he’d bought on his first trip into a human settlement with his parents. He carefully picks it up.
The little charm in the shape of a puffin is what caught Dan’s attention in the first place, but it’s not what keeps it.
Closer inspection reveals that the leather band is snapped in two – the knot that originally secured the bracelet to his friend’s wrist still intact – and the entire area seems disturbed, sand uneven and algae ripped out of the ground, like someone had tried to find purchase while being dragged away.
This doesn’t look good. Not like Seán lost his bracelet while out and about.
Not like he’s just avoiding Dan because of their fight.
Not like his friend is safe.
------------
Where there’s a will, there’s a way. And if nothing else, Dan is a stubborn bastard. Especially when his friends are in danger.

Summary
The next time Seán wakes up he’s actually coherent enough to take in what’s going around him. His head hurts, but the rest of him feels surprisingly fine, if a bit sore. And hungry.
There are people around him talking and he quickly closes his eyes again. No need to let whoever’s here know that he’s awake. He might be able to actually find out something about the situation this way.-------------------
Seán didn't ask for any of this. Neither did Daithi. But at least they're not alone.

Summary
The triton has flattened itself to the ground of the glass tank, its glare transferring from Professor Owenii to Brian the moment he enters the room. Its pointed ears are pressed back against the long dark hair and its dark beard contrasts heavily with its pale face. Brian wishes he knew whether that paleness was natural or just influenced by the deep wound torn in one of the triton’s tentacles.
-------------
Brian makes the most significant discovery of his lifetime. Kevin just wants his thoughts to leave him alone for once.

Summary
The rocky formation further down the beach – halfway between his access point and the cliffs that rise up into the sky and separate this beach from the next one – is too high to be submerged by the tides for most of the year, instead reaching out from the edge of the beach like a dark, sharp finger, stretching in hopes of reaching the sea, unbothered by ebb and flow.
------------
Kevin goes down to the beach in the aftermath of a storm. Nothing could have prepared him for what he finds washed up in the tide pools.

Summary
There are some great quick guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide, dividing all of the available tags into the following categories:
1. Text Formatting (in-line HTML)
2. Page Formatting (block HTML)
3. Tables and Lists
4. Links and ImagesEach tag will have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example.
It will also introduce tag attributes, ways to further refine formatting, for a few simple - but widely applicable - cases.
