Blake Belladonna was beautiful, it was her name. When she would be in front of the camera she felt in her element. It’s always been them three for so long. Weiss, Blake, and Velvet-
“We have to leave.”
“For how long?” Blake asked, ears folded back slightly.
She shook her head defeatedly, “Until she fully gets control of the business.”
“But I know someone,” Coco interjected.
“Who?”
A reassuring smile spread on her face, “My best friend, Yang Xiao Long.”
(Blake’s best friend and photographer have to leave after exciting news, but that leaves Blake and Weiss wondering who will take Velvet’s place in the meantime. Thankfully for them, Coco has a friend who’s been doing this for years.)

Blake and Yang set to creating the ties that will bind their two families together and protect them from the dangers that surround - but the world of nobility is fickle, and nothing is as simple as it seems. Her grief isn't tangible. It's not something to ponder or feel. Yang’s known grief her whole life; she thinks she's felt it before ever feeling sadness. Her grief is heavy, but it's familiar, it fades, it comes back, at the worst time, in the worst way. She doesn't think one ever heals, she doesn't think grief gets better, it just gets drowned out by more pressing matters.
It doesn't get better with time. She thinks it gets worse.
