Summary
In the grim darkness of the Koronus Expanse, beyond the borders of the Imperium, is the realm of Rogue Traders. This is the novelisation of the eponymous game, where a former Commissar has been called to take up the mantle of the von Valancius dynasty. Despite the stain of past shame, she must uncover the mysteries sowed by her predecessor, the enigmatical Theodora, and face Chaos cults, political factions of varying morality, as well as the xenos threat. And romance, too.
Will try to keep bi-weekly updates on Wednesday and Sunday again.
The Heinrix smut happens first in chap 10, then 20, 36, 42, and more to come.

In sharing this particular fragment of the Cain Archive, it is my wish to shed light on a less explored period of Ciaphas Cain"s life: that is, when the Commissariat sent him to liaise with Lord General Zyvan and his staff on Coronus. By then, Cain"s career and status as Hero of the Imperium (despite his private protestations about the title) were well established and he found himself quite taken with a life that, for being more stable and comfortable than what he had known before, still put his particular skills to good use. The events described in this fragment illustrate well, I believe, the outrageous aptitude he had for always finding himself in the thick of things (albeit reluctantly) — a talent that made him a most valuable asset to the Inquisition.

I chose to tell the story of how Belladonna met Bungo. There"s more to it than just a love story, of course, and the beginning may remind keen-eyed readers of the "Hobbit". Long story short: Bungo is a well-meaning idiot who"s way out of his depth, and Belladonna is a morosexual. An adventurous, snarky, morosexual. But you"re not here for the short story, are you?

Kunrad Voigtvir got his wish. Having succeeded in taking over the Voidtreader in the wake of Theodora von Valancius" death, he plays the role of the dutiful Rogue Trader, while biding his time and waiting for his allies to be ready. But he made one error.
He left another heir alive.
Meliana Lamb, saved by the soon-to-be Infernus Master, Einrich Monteg, has been spirited away to the middle and lower decks, where she becomes the central figure of a plot for revenge and rebellion. There, she tries to gather as many people to her side, regardless of station, until she can finally bring Voigtvir to the only kind of justice the Koronus Expanse has - the bloody kind.
