When Jaskier’s awful date drags him to the local theme park’s haunted house, Jaskier is expecting it to be miserable. He’s right. There’s nothing that can save his horrible night, or so he thinks. Nothing except the gorgeous white-haired actor who talked Jaskier through a panic attack.
“Come on, Jaskier, it’s just a haunted house! Nothing in it is real!” Silas cajoled as he pulled Jaskier forward. The group of people two ahead of them were ushered into the haunted house, and anxiety churned with irritation in Jaskier’s stomach. He bit his tongue to keep from snapping at Silas; no point in making the people around them uncomfortable.
“…I’m not fond of scary things,” Jaskier grit out, refusing to just keep silent. He knew what was coming, and braced himself as best he could.
“Why, you a wuss? Scared of some spooky sounds and actors in makeup?” Silas teased, grinning as if this was something he enjoyed.

Summary
Jared is your average everyday actor just trying to get by in the world. His life would be a fairly ordinary story if the previous occupant of his apartment wasn't still living there. His current roommate is one Chad Michael Murray; a ghost who's funny but kind of a jerk, and for some reason seems hellbent on messing up any dates Jared happens to bring home. He enlists the help of a local psychic to no avail. And then, just as he's accepting his celibate fate, he meets Jensen Ackles while auditioning for a role. Jensen is extremely interested in Jared, and the feeling is mutual. Can Jared manage to turn this interest into the relationship he'd love to have, or will Chad's interference ruin everything for him?
