Tommy decided to put two entrances into the lab under his house. This has consequences when something or rather someone finds it and decides to stick around. Or rather three someones who are definitely not human, are probably dangerous, and were adopted the second that Hayley and Tommy figured out that they probably weren't adults to the teens ever lasting confusion.

Hayley knows three things: Her best friend needs her help in creating Ranger Tech, Aquitar is the best place to learn, and apparently leader Aquitian White Rangers are incredibly attractive. Those three things help lead her toward dealing with her best friend's past relationships, working with a billionaire and said friend to create the superhero team they need, creating a family that will have to endure the many mistakes that are made, making the most long-distance of relationships work, and hopefully saving the world on top of it. You know, the usual superhero fare.

Summary
After realizing Rita's pregnant, Zedd realizes that he wants his child to have a better life than driving around in an RV. Tommy is not handling losing his powers well at all. Both of these things get solved when Zedd and Rita decide to pull Tommy back to help them gain back their home which causes Zedd to reminiscence about his past with Zordon while focusing on doing what's needed to protect his wife and child, while Tommy finds out more about the past than he would have wanted to know.

Summary
Instead of getting captured, Tommy (and an unlucky Hayley) is thrust into a coma leaving Dino Thunder alone while they're still trying to figure everything out. For other teams, this might be okay but for a team of teenagers who are scared, paranoid, guilt-ridden, and gained their powers through stealing to get out of detention, this is a far larger problem.
