Summary
What is the story of the two royal spouses, he wonders watching the large family forming an irregular line and taking their bows, each at their own pace. It’s not their royal lineage he’s interested in, he knows nothing about those. It’s how the two husbands met that he would pay to hear about.
Laida really like stories, you see. Real-life love stories especially, every single laundry maid knows that much about him.
Did the two princes meet in their childhoods? Were they, per chance, betrothed from a young age? Maybe not the later, as they both look around thirty, and the older litter is still rather young. But did they like eachother this much from the start?
Whatever the answer is, Laida leaves pondering about it for later. Servants talk and the Elysian royal pair has brought their own army of mouths which are bound to spill the story at each and every corner of the Abbadonian palace. So eventually, their tale will reach the guard’s ears.

“Oh Angel, don’t you understand? It’s rarely the sex that does it,” Crowley murmured. “It’s more like…the suggestion of it. A few words here,” she said softly in his ear. Aziraphale shivered as her lips brushed his ear, despite the blistering heat. When did she move so close to him? “A touch there…” she traced her fingers over the inside of the Angel’s arm, and the sensation was like electricity where their skin met, only much more pleasurable. Her hand moved up his arm, and she ran her fingers through the hair at the nape of his neck. Aziraphale thought perhaps he would never breathe again. Crowley was straddling Aziraphale now - when had that happened? - and their eyes met as she stroked the Angel’s cheek. “And then,” she whispered, running her thumb gently over his lips, which parted under her touch, “A spark.”
