His eyes curve like crescent moon, ignoring the other's slight flinch as he comes to take his hands into his, grinning widely.
"Wah, are you really me??" Honey meets blood, he registers the shock in the other’s eyes but doesn't let himself dwell on it, tightens their joined hands. "You're so cool, you defeat those bad guys so quickly!"
Agonising silence, he watched the other boy freeze, then stared up at him in bewilderment, his mouth open and closed in rapid motion. At last, he nods, face the epitome of shock.
The first thing Rikuo learns about his other self is that they don't share thoughts.
The revelation makes him so happy that he grins through the next day, even as he picks up the glasses and plays the part of a good human.
Or alternatively,
Rikuo is a little bit more perceptive, a bit more action-prone and a tinge more manipulative. All for the sake of his clan. Thus, the world changes.
