Tim had nothing against romance. He wasn’t a monster. Not that it mattered, but he could be quite the romantic himself with the right woman. What he had a problem with was the entirely overhyped cash cow that Hollywood and Hallmark had made it out to be. Don’t get him started on Meg Ryan’s complicity in the whole affair. Love at first sight? Ridiculous. Falling in love so hard that you couldn’t focus on anything else? Unlikely. Finding your perfect half? Please, spare him the melodrama.
