Summary
It's been years since the gangs roaming the street had been formed. The two main and most powerful groups being The Deadbeats and The Chumbuds. Both groups had been passed down to their current heirs from the previous leader.
Calliope had immediately gained traction as leader and managed to claim territory from some smaller (but still well known) gangs. She was the one who expanded The Deadbeats to who they were today. A force no one other than The Chumbuds would even think about facing.
The Chumbuds current leader was Gawr Gura, "The Shark." Ever since she was old enough to hold a gun, her father had taught her everything he knew. Pair that with her chaotic nature and lack of hesitation, the short girl was more than a formidable enemy. From there she claimed territory as well, showing no mercy for anyone who dared to cross her path. The only ones strong enough to stop her gang's onward spread was none other than The Deadbeats.
Can these two work together, or will they snap under the pressure Detective Amelia Watson puts on them?

Summary
Luz, an Alpha from the human realm, finds herself in the Boiling Isles. Now that she's here, she's taken in by Eda and approved to learn magic under Eda's wing while making new friends along the way. Everything is fun and simple!
Until it's not.
She meets Amity and her entire life is turned on it's axis. How will Luz deal with both the emporor and her emotions? Are things more complicated than they seem?

______11/24/22: Sorry, I felt like I needed to change this summary, seeing as the story took a different turn and the summary no longer matched up. Also, another sorry for my current Hiatus. It's been a while, but I promise I'll be working on it every time I get the chance. Writer's block is a huge issue, along with my college work and wavering interest in the show. I just recently got back into TOH, so hopefully I'll have the last chapter pumped out before the end of this year. If that's not the case, then just know this work isn't abandoned. I'm just slow, busy, and unmotivated, sorry guys. (T.T ) I'll try to finish it soon. Looking for Beta reader, info at end!

“Amity went through the door after Luz,” Emira chimed in. Her voice was scarily monotone. “Now she’s trapped on the other side of the portal you just destroyed.”

Summer has come to an end, and it's time for Luz to return home to Camila. Amity only finds the courage to tell her friend how she feels about her when the door closes behind Luz, and makes the rash decision to follow her.
Then something goes wrong, stranding Amity with Luz, far away from everything she’s ever known.
Meanwhile, life soldiers on in the Boiling Isles, but unbeknownst to Amity, her disappearance will radically alter the lives of those close to her. Eda, Edric, Emira, Willow and Gus resolve to do everything in their power to bring her back, but not without facing challenges of their own.
