Summary
It’s been 25 years since the remaining members of The Unsinkable 8, along with the boys were rescued from the islands and the bunker. Gretchen and her team were never found. Neither was Nora. Toni somewhat kept in touch with the girls over the years but hasn’t seen Shelby since she went home. Nobody has. So when Toni’s daughter brings home a friend from college during Christmas break that looks exactly like Shelby, it brings back a lot of old memories she kept to herself. Especially when the girl’s mother turns out to be none other than Shelby Goodkind.

I was listening to Remember When by Alan Jackson one day and thought about Toni and Shelby bumping into each other years later. So I thought of a scenario where their daughters became bestfriends and a bunch of fuck-shit lead up to everybody meeting once again.
