rafael's sound asleep in charles' lap when he finally feels eyes on him. lo and behold, in the doorway stands carlos, arms crossed with his sleeves folded up. he swallows around nothing, glancing back down at his sleeping son. "you missed dinner," he says, as neutrally as he can manage, which isn't very much at all. "and the match, too."
carlos strides over until he's standing right in front of charles and now he has to crane his neck up to look at him. he swoops rafa up into his arms, and his baby doesn't even flinch, snuggling more into his father's neck. "was he very upset?" he asks charles. "did he miss me?"
"yeah," he says simply.
there's a fire in carlos' eyes, the same ones he's passed down to rafael and sophie. "and you?"

Thus, a mysterious mission with other Top Gun graduates and lessons from some famous captain? Peanuts.
Except the famous captain is the one Bradley left at sixteen, said captain’s husband is somehow also teaching (shouldn’t he be leading the navy or something?), several pasts get rekindled and somehow he becomes friends (or more) with the (in)famous Bagman along the way.

Currently, Fernando works in a horrible office. He never saw Mark or heard from him again. Despite feeling curious about looking for Mark on social media, Fernando needs to focus on his new task at the office: helping the new, young employee adapt to the environment. Or, Taylor gets a second shot at accompanying the 118 for another segment and notices that her boyfriend is a lot closer to his best friend than she remembers.
