She didn’t need to turn around to know those liquid gold eyes were staring at her, analyzing her. Almost piercing through her non-existent soul. She tucked a stray lock of silver hair behind her ear. Her eyes closed, she didn’t dare turn back, afraid of what he’d say.
She heard that the night skies on Anaria were a sight to behold, but witnessing herself was….it was….Well, no words in the Intergalactic Handbook could describe the raw feeling in her for a bunch of bright lights. She also heard from the boy the aurora's on Jarilo-VI were just as mesmerizing. But thinking about all that wasn’t bringing her joy. The sky may be colorful, but inside, right now she felt hollow.
Her script was over, and she should’ve regrouped with the Stellaron Hunters by now, but she wanted to wait and spend more time with her present company until he returns to the Express. She did notice that it said she would reunite with him once more, and she could barely contain her excitement back then, but now, after all was said and done, she was having doubts.

March screamed. They whipped their heads up, and Caelus stumbled back, mouth gaping. Dan Heng summoned his spear, though it would prove to be useless.
He stood in front of them with his pearl, letting loose his power. He felt the moisture in the otherwise dry and airy room and absorbed it, feeling his hair grow long and horns form on the crown of his head. His tail curled around March and Caelus protectively, and with a swish of his fingers, he let the dragon soar, hitting the thing straight in its chest...
It was gone.
Behind him, Caelus let out an ear splitting cry

Hey,” Caelus hushed him, placing a finger on his lips. So the reason why he was feeling guilty was because he was dragged into this mess? Does he think that the whole Stellaron incident was his fault at this rate just because they got involved? Just how long was he feeling like this? “First of all, stop blaming yourself for every single little thing. Coming to the Luofu in the first place to seal the Stellaron was all of our choice. My choice. You can’t claim responsibility for something I consciously decided and acted upon. And second, we’re here on Feixiao’s orders, and I know Hanya well. And sure, this place is a bit creepy, but I’m not scared. Can you guess why?”
Dan Heng looked a bit fearful, his bottom lip quivering ever so slightly. After a few minutes of silence, he finally asked, “why?”
“Its because I’m with you! You’re strong, resilient, and you have a kind heart. Whatever happened to you in the past, I will make sure that it won’t happen now. And I trust you’ll have my back as well.”
He opened his arms. “So let’s wrap this up quickly and go back home, ok?”

He stood there, eyes wide and mouth hanging open at the scene in front of him, and Caelus still hadn’t noticed him, and quite frankly, he didn’t have the energy to call out his name.
And so this went on for a good 15 minutes, him staring and his clueless boyfriend eating away the entire tub (he should have stopped him, but he found he couldn’t make a single move) until finally he looked up and cowered a bit when he saw just who it was. At least it didn’t look like he had a concussion.
Blood slowly trickled down his face and hit the floor as gold eyes met teal for another few minutes before he let out a nervous laugh and shuffled his feet. He cleared his throat, and once again made eye contact.
“It’s not as bad as it looks, I can explain.”
“…..”
“…..”
“….”
“Yeah, I can’t explain it.”
