Summary
He turns to Lelouch with a half-smile. Tucked neatly under a pale arm is Zero’s helmet, filled with lychee and some edible-looking leaves, the mask pristine and unscathed. Maybe it’s the fact that Lelouch is standing there so confidently in nothing but what could probably be called panties, holding the very symbol of an ideal Suzaku can’t stand, or maybe it’s just the dehydration returning to roundhouse kick him in the head, but Suzaku bursts into near-hysterical laughter seeing him.
Lelouch stiffens and crosses his free arm over his ribs. “W-what’s so funny?!”
“You’re using your helmet as a f-fruit bowl,” Suzaku giggles, doubling over. “Screw terrorism. You should have gone into interior design. T-that would look perfect on somebody’s coffee table!”
(or — instead of being separated on Kamine Island in Stage 19, Suzaku and Lelouch end up stranded together. This leads to… interesting developments.)

Summary
Suzaku blinks at his hands, bare and ungloved, and then at the rest of himself, bare and unclothed. He knows this place, though he hasn’t been here in years: C’s world. Monochrome and mystified, he scans his surroundings and finds nothing of interest (rather, he finds nothing at all. C’s world is completely empty, a pit in space where objects cease to exist). Perhaps the Geass failed and he is finally dead.
Tentatively, he takes a step forward, and calls out “Hello?”
The void flares garnet red at the sound of his voice and seems to reach out to him, grabbing him by the neck, his feet lifting from the immaterial ground.
(or— a glitch in the World of C boomerangs Suzaku back to his first day at Ashford Academy with all his memories of the previous timeline intact. Could Suzaku stop it, like this? Maybe, if he just gets closer. If he makes sure Lelouch can’t get away. Written for SuzaLulu Unholy Halloween 2024 Day 2: Death/Rebirth.)
