Summary
A little something from the early BTLATD drafts, one of the versions of Heliana's death (i actually haven't decided on the way she dies in her canon, so we'll see). Found this in my notes the other day and HeliWan demanded my attention, which is , by the way , one hell of a thing to cooperate for imho, but regardless there we are. I guess, enjoy.

I blame this creation on the artwork I got, so if you find yourself wondering why isn't there more about Naireen and Gwaine that would be due to the fact that their story is still in the process of creation (aka I am just figuring out the first chapter). So count this as a preview, for I know for a fact those two will end up together. The question is how much time they'll have (cause s5, if you know you know).

She woke up to a gut feeling something wasn't right. Sitting up on her bed she scanned the room, breathing in the warm salty air of the late evening on Pabu. she finally spotted Hunter sitting in the chair, still in his full armor, his head hung to his chest, as if he had fallen asleep. She suddenly felt guilty. He probably had spent a whole day (or however long she was out) sitting in that chair, keeping watch over her, waiting for her to wake up and ready for any possible outcome. Luckily she felt quite able to move, even though it would have probably been better to try and get up with his help at first.
“Hunter?” she called.
Nothing happened. He didn’t move, nor did he acknowledge her presence or the fact he heard her in any way. She frowned. That wasn’t typical. Was he okay?

Summary
Yet another AU to Between the Light and the Darkness. Post o66 Heliana doesn't manage to find Obi-Wan Kenobi no matter how hard she tries. Eventually, she gives up and assumes he is dead. So she thinks until one day a Sith comes looking for her with a strange request.
P.S. Yes, instead of working on the main story I do write many AUs regarding the events that haven't happened in BTLATD canon yet. Am I sorry for that or for the pain? No, I'm not.
