He spins on his heel and stalks back to Lucy’s door, and he’s just raising his hand to knock when the door flies open and Lucy appears before him.
Her eyes are on fire, and the sigh of relief she lets out mirrors Tim’s own.
“Thank fuck,” she breathes, and Tim has barely stepped inside and closed the door when Lucy is all up on him, her body pressed to his. He leans down, cups her face, and then presses his lips to hers.
